Casting is a widely used process in prototyping, typically used for building
functional prototypes out of a broad range of polyurethanes and other polymers.
SuNPe has two vacuum casting workshops with
5 set vacuum casting machines. Max operating dimension is:
2000mm*1200mm*1000mm, max in 7kg.

We can accurately reproduce the prototypes with original color, over-mold, texture and geometries from the master model and components. These plastic castings will closely represent the mechanical properties of the intended production parts from a steel mold. One silicone mold can cast about 15 to 20 pieces of parts, depends on complexity, painting or original color, size and other factors in different parts.
What's the process of Vacuum Casting?
Step 1: CNC machine or SLA a master,do the required texture on the master
Step 2:Use the master to make silicone mold,one master can make 3 to 5 molds
Step 3:Inject the PU material to the silicone mold then put it to the oven to get the final product,one mold can inject 15 to 20 parts

Transparent PU, Soft plastic PU, ABS PU, PP/PE PU, Polycarbonate PU. We purchase PU material from Hei-Cast company, Axson and BJB company.
lot of successful vacuum casting projects have been done at SuNPe. As shown,
different colors parts were all from the same silicone mold. Colors mixed in
house, according to different required color codes in RAL/Pantone, or color
sample clips from customer.
We also offer over-mold service and achieve a great success.This service is usually made from soft plastic over-molded with hard plastic parts to get the final cosmetic parts
